You are not your pain.
You are not your mistakes.
You are not your childhood, your heartbreaks, or the people who couldn’t love you right.

You are what you chose to do with all of it.
Every habit you’ve picked up, every fear you carry, every wall you’ve built, it all came from somewhere.
And while it makes sense that you learned to protect yourself the way you did, it’s also okay to unlearn. To question. To shift. To grow.
You’re allowed to rewrite the story.
Just because life handed you broken pieces doesn’t mean you can’t build a masterpiece.
So take your pain.
Take your lessons.
Take all the messy, raw, unfiltered parts of your journey, and turn them into power.
Into wisdom. Into purpose.
The past shaped you. But you define you.
Your story isn’t over. You’re just getting started.
Life is not about lost and found. Every behaviour satisfies a need. Find a gift in everything. Love is not what you feel but what you do.
It take two to fight , but it takes one to stop. When you’re angry, you’re only hurting yourself.
If we’re relying on external circumstances, then we will never find love and happiness.
Why would a person harm themselves or hurt others? Yes, they may want to be nice or want power but why?
Because deep down they are hurt and feel empty, or insecure, or anxious, or lonely, or ashamed, or guilty. Both those sets of behaviours can be referred to as low self-esteem.
That deep, early fear of rejection and abandonment can haunt us forever.
That urge for validation and acceptance and that terror of rejection can be omnipresent.
In many cases that’s the root cause of peoples problematic and unwanted behaviour: people are just trying to regulate their emotions by using the methods they learned when they had to adapt to their stressful past environments.
The power is in letting go.
When we start healing, growing, and thriving, we learn to evaluate ourselves and do it more and more accurately. We understand that you can learn to accurately estimate yourself instead of only relying on another persons interpretation of you, which, for better or worse, is often grossly inaccurate.
Our sense of self-esteem actually starts coming from the inside, not from the outside.
