The Blue Moon appears May 31st; Consider it a love letter from the universe to those brave enough to try again.

Most people don’t realize that May gifted us something rare this year, a Blue Moon. The second full moon in a single month peeks on May 31st and somehow that feels fitting for the season we’re living through.

Traditionally, the Blue Moon symbolizes transformation, rare opportunities, and emotional release. A quiet reminder that life doesn’t always move in perfect cycles. Sometimes the universe gives you an extra chance to begin again.

Farmers, gardeners, fishermen, people who stayed close to the land, have always understood that the moon affects more than tides. It affects us too. Our energy. Our reflection. Our willingness to let go of what no longer fits the version of ourselves we’re growing into. I think that’s why I love gardening so much. It teaches you not to fear seasons of change. Every harvest requires something to end. Every seed asks to be buried before it becomes anything beautiful.

Maybe that’s what this Blue Moon is really asking of us. To release the version of ourselves built only for survival. To stop carrying things that were never ours to hold. To make room for softer mornings, slower evenings, and a life that actually feels like living.

The world will try to convince you that rest is laziness and growth should always be loud and visible. But nature has never worked that way. Some of the most important transformations happen quietly underground long before anyone notices.

So if you’ve been feeling pulled toward change lately, maybe don’t ignore it. Even the moon knows we aren’t meant to stay the same forever.

“We hit the beach for full moon breathwork—it was pure magic! The grand finale? Placing a fresh rose on your heart, setting your intention, and letting it float away. Just picture tomorrow early morning beachgoers stumbling upon a sea of roses washed ashore—what a scene!”
