My work isn’t just about fermenting food & the food you put in your mouth.
• Your eating is a mirror of how you’re living, and we can’t improve your relationship with food without improving your relationship with your life.

‘If music be the food of Love, Play on!
wrote Shakespeare in Twelfth Night. Unfortunately, he then went on to propose an excess of it so his appetite “may sicken, and so die”.
Of course, if he’d had a copy of Loving the Food for Love tucked in his breeches he would surely have sought a different dessert.
One that didn’t cause him heart-ache.
And he would have found such dishes, comprehensively detailed, throughout the book. For this is a Book for Lovers of Food, and Life – and Love! And surely the true Love of one encompasses the others?
For the true Lover of fine food undoubtedly Loves life, too.
And, in Loving life, the true gourmet unhesitatingly shows concern for life.
For there cannot be true Love without Respect. Hence, Loving the Food for Life is packed not just with nutritious foods but with that respect and appreciation for Life which is inseparable from a respect and appreciation of the foods we eat. When the preparation’s fun and the main dish delicious – what more could one want from their food (or their Loving?!)
Or, as the Bard once said “Good digestion waits on appetite; and health on both!”

- A good relationship with food (and also with the Self) means a communication between your emotions, body, mind and the food you are eating.
- You need to start feeling, in order to be sensitive enough to be intuitive about eating.
- Most of us simply don’t take the time to attune with and communicate with our food so we allow our subconscious to rule our food choices.
- The more alive a food is and unprocessed it is, the easier it is to communicate with and feel.

All of this is just another way how to practice self-love.
This is about discovering who you are, getting in tune with what you need and consciously choosing to make the right choices for you.🌅
