Fermented Onion

Let the bubbles begin!

Golden shallot (French Shallots) turmeric, Bay leaf and native pepper.

In a Bok choy brine.

The bulbs are longer than they are wide.

When the fermenting fairies have transformed, we eat them everyday.

They look so pretty, whole on a plate with salads.

Great sliced in raw soups or a garnish on anything.

Add to sauerkraut raw seed dehydrated crackers.

Today we will be busy planting bulbs for the yummy cycle to continue.

They need plenty of sunshine, water and food ….. fermented enzyme juice.
