Ghosting a Garden of “c’est la vie.”

Ghosting is like a magic trick that makes people disappear before our very eyes.

I had a friend who was a master at ghosting long before it was cool.

It was an odd mix of emotions that made the loss feel so deep.

I felt hurt, but it wasn’t about me. It was about their own demons that they couldn’t face.

They were too proud to ask for help, too nice to burden anyone, and too scared to admit the truth.

And so, they vanished without a trace. Over time, I struggled to make sense of what had happened and all the things that were left unsaid. But it was a good lesson in facing my own fears and insecurities.

Ghosting wasn’t a true death, but more like a spiritual one.

In the end, I scattered the remains in the garden of “c’est la vie.”

Now, I think back on the good times and the gifts that my friend brought into my life.

The garden is blooming with sweeter memories, replacing the complex bitterness of resentment. Ghosting can be a tough pill to swallow, but it can also be a good medicine.
