DIY Tool Kit

What to put in your tool kit? Mixed tools for your home / bike. Focus on quality.

For home: Screwdrivers, spanners and sockets, little hammer, measuring tape, pliers, utility knife, level, torch.

For the push bike rider – plastic gloves (you don’t want greasy hands if you have to repair a chain). Allen keys, tyre levers, screwdrivers, torch, chain checker, pedal wrench, chain breaker, tape measure and ruler, torque wrench, open-end wrenches, scissors and side cutters, cassette locking tool and chain whip, bottom bracket tool for threaded frames, adj wrench, cable housing cutter, cone wrenches, utility knife, needle nose pliers, spoke wrench, mallet, chainring nut wrench, plastic flush-cutters, derailleur hanger gauge, zip ties and duct tape (always have duct tape for any 2 wheel riding – it fixes everything). They make miniature rolls of duct tape and are multi-use in terms of holding fenders in place or holding together some frayed wiring.
